Context and history
A defence of academic freedom written by a man of seventy-four who had just been reprimanded by the King of Prussia for writing on religion. The second part contains his reflection on the French Revolution. This is the GERMAN version: the original. The catalogue also holds an old English translation of the same work; both are here to be read, but citations should follow this one.
